The Ronin 225 Scrambler marks TVS’ entry into the premium lifestyle motorcycle segment. Designed ground up, the Ronin 225 comes with many firsts in terms of technology and convenience features like dual-channel ABS, voice assistance, and enhanced connectivity. This bike also comes with two ABS modes – Urban and Rain. Braking is done via a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc at the back.

The Ronin is suspended via 41mm Showa big-piston forks up front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. You also get 9-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends that are shod with tubeless tires. The tires have a block pattern and were specifically developed for Ronin.

The TVS Ronin comes with a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that is good for 20bhp of peak power and 19.9Nm of peak torque. The engine has been tuned to provide a flat torque curve and plenty of meat in the low and mid-range. As a result of this, TVS claims that riders will not have to shift as often. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assisted clutch.
