The Omoda 5 EV boasts a futuristic design language, aptly named “Light of Movement.” Its exterior features a sporty “X” shaped front face, optimized for wind resistance, and dynamic body lines that maintain a perfect balance. The rear of the vehicle exhibits an upturned design, projecting a highly active stance.

The vehicle will be available in two battery options: a long-range variant with a 61 kWh battery, to be launched first, followed by a short-range variant with a 40 kWh battery. Additionally, motor capacity options will also be offered, starting with a motor capacity of less than 100 kW, with the possibility of more extensive motor options based on consumer demand.

One of the key highlights of the Omoda 5 EV is its smart lightweight battery, enhancing battery life and addressing mileage anxiety through V2L technology. Equipped with an 8155 Qualcomm smart chip, 16 types of ADAS, Sony speakers, and assisted driving, the Omoda 5 EV brings the future closer to consumers.

To ensure a seamless ownership experience, Chery International plans to expand its infrastructure and service network in Nepal. Within three months of the Omoda 5 EV launch, the company aims to establish 8-10 service outlets and infrastructure nationwide. The vehicle has been optimized for Nepali landscapes and roads, boasting a suitable ground clearance for the region.
