The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be powered by a new 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.47 BHP of peak power at 8000 RPM. That is approximately 15 BHP more than the 24.3 BHP made by the current Himalayan at 6500 RPM. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The dimensions of the new Himalayan has also gone up. The wheelbase is now 1510mm (the current one is 1465mm), the width is 852mm which has gone up from 840mm, and the bike’s overall length has increased to 2245mm from a previous 2190mm.

There are expected new elements in the design of the new Himalayan as well, such as a new trellis frame and new hardware and features. Royal Enfield could offer a fully digital instrument cluster on the new Himalayan 452 along with the LED headlight. It would house all the necessary readouts and probably feature smartphone connectivity.

Pricing and other details will most likely be revealed after its official launch.
