The Super Meteor 650 gets a 15.7-litre teardrop-shaped fuel tank, scooped seat, beefy fenders, a monopod instrument console and rotary-style switchgear. The raked-out front end, a low seat height of 740mm and the forward set footpegs further add to its cruiser styling.

The bike sits on a new tubular chassis and features a 43mm USD fork with 120mm travel and twin shock with 101mm travel. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 300mm at the rear, mated to dual-channel ABS. The bike runs on a 19/16-inch alloy wheel setup. The Super Meteor 650 has a wheelbase of 1500 mm and a ground clearance of 135 mm. Similarly, it is 2260 mm long and 890 mm wide with a height of 1155 mm.

The Super Meteor 650 cruiser will use the same 648cc, air-/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine from its other 650cc siblings, producing 47 hp at 7,250rpm and 52 Nm at 5,650rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 241 kg (with 90% fuel & oil).

The Standard trim will be offered with 5 colour options – Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. The Tourer variant will be offered in two colours – Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be unveiled in India at Royal Enfield’s Rider Mania event later this month.
