Skoda Vision IN SUV Spotted Testing In India

A test mule of the upcoming Skoda Vision IN SUV has been spotted in India revealing details about the exterior of the vehicle. The Skoda Vision IN, just like the VW Taigun will be the first model to be built on the company’s brand-new, tailored-for-India, MQB A0 IN platform. The Vision IN previews a midsize SUV to rival the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos and mark Skoda’s entry into one of the Indian market’s most lucrative and competitive segments.

As seen in the spy images, the front fascia of the full camouflaged vehicle sports LED headlamps with halogen fog lights. The test mule appears to be an entry-level variant as it gets steel wheels.  Similarly, the rear profile gets LED taillights and a high mounted stop lamp integrated into the spoiler.

Features expected on the production version of the Skoda Vision IN include automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, USB charging ports at the rear, drive modes, ambient lighting, and more. We can also tell you that the production-spec Skoda Vision IN SUV will have a 2,651mm-long wheelbase and plenty of space for rear-seat passengers.

The Skoda Vision IN is likely to be offered with a 115 hp 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine and maybe even a 130 hp 1.5-litre TSI-Evo petrol engine with transmission choices that include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
