Powering the Avenis is a 124.3cc air-cooled engine that delivers 8.7 PS and 10 Nm of torque, which is the same as the Burgman Street 125. The motor is teamed with a CVT. The scooter measures 1,895mm long, 710mm wide, and 1,175mm high. It has a wheelbase of 1,265mm and a ground clearance of 160mm. The Avenis has a seat height of 780mm.

The Avenis gets features like an engine kill switch, side stand interlock, dual luggage hooks, and a digital instrument display with smartphone connectivity, among other features. The scooter also gets a new external hinge-type fuel cap for ease of fuelling and features like large under-seat space and a front box with a USB socket.

The Suzuki Avenis rivals the likes of TVS Ntorq 125, Yamaha RayZR 125, Honda Grazia 125, and Aprilia SR125. It is expected to be priced between Rs 2,50,000-Rs 3,00,000 in the Nepalese market.
