Tata Motors Delivers 50,000th Electric Car

Tata Motors India, India’s largest electric car maker has achieved a key milestone. The company recently delivered its 50,000th electric car, with the customer being none other than N Chandrasekaran, the chairman of Tata Group.

The Tata Nexon EV happens to be the best-selling and also the most affordable electric SUV in India. The Nexon EV is offered in two trims – Prime and Max. The Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 437km, thanks to its larger 40.5kWh battery pack, while the Prime variant offers an ARAI-certified range of 312km from the 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

“It gives us immense pride as we deliver our 50,000th EV, a Tata Nexon EV, to Mr. N Chandrasekaran – the Chairman of Tata Group. What started as his vision, has changed the way India perceives mobility. And it was only fitting to have this very special person be the owner of a milestone car – the 50,000th TATA EV. This was indeed a special delivery for each one of us at Tata Motors. Here’s to many electrifying miles that lie ahead,” wrote Tata Motors in an Instagram post.

Tata Motors’ portfolio includes three electric cars – Nexon EV, Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
