The Aprilia SR 160 has been spotted in an updated guise in India.  It is expected to launch in the coming days, with a small price hike over the existing scooter.

The front apron has been redesigned and now sports a V-shaped LED headlight that greatly modernizes the aging scooter’s overall appearance. The handlebar shroud has also been tweaked, now featuring a pair of scoops on the central portion. It continues to house the front indicators, which don’t appear to have received the LED treatment.

A test mule of the SR 160 was spotted with a fully digital instrumental cluster, and this will now be added to the production scooter as part of its update. The display seems to be derived from the SXR 160 and could feature Bluetooth connectivity. This latest sighting shows the scooter seemingly in production-ready form, indicating that an official launch should be just around the corner.
