The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been launched in Nepal at an aggressive starting price of Rs 30,96,000. The Grand i10 Nios will be available in three variants – Magna (Rs 30,96,000), Magna AMT (Rs 33,96,000), and Sportz (Rs 33,96,000).

Here are the top 5 highlights of the car:

1.Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be available in a 1.2-liter petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) making 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. The engine will be offered in both manual and AMT transmission.

2.The Grand i10 Nios gets a ‘cascading grille’ at the front, which is bigger than the Santro’s. The model also gets a sculpted bumper along with new projector headlamps with LED DRLs and projector fog lamps on the top-spec variants.  The side profile looks similar to the Grand i10, though the new design 15-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out C-pillar, roof rails, and shark fin antenna provide the main differentiators. At the back, the hatchback gets new design tail-lights and bumper. The Nios is also larger than the Grand i10 – its 40mm longer, 20mm wider, and has a wheelbase that is 15mm longer.

3.The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with a touchscreen infotainment system supported by Apple Carplay and Andriod Auto. There is also automatic climate control, a 5.3-inch part-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging (a segment-first), a USB charger at the front and a power outlet at the rear, a cooled glovebox, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls for the audio system, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, rear AC vents, a rear parking camera, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors, and a rear wash/wipe.

4.The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seat-belt reminders and rear parking sensors are standard fitment across the range.

5.The compact hatchback measures 3,805 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width, and 1,520 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The Grand i10 Nios comes with a 37-liter fuel tank.
