Toyota Raize Launched In Nepal At Rs 66 Lakh; To Be Available In 4 Variants

United Traders Syndicate Pvt Ltd has officially launched the Toyota Raize at a starting price of Rs. 66,00,000. The Toyota Raize is the latest car to enter the competitive compact SUV segment and is set to compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.

The Toyota Raize will be available in four variants and it is priced between Rs 66 Lakh – Rs 86 Lakh in the Nepalese market.

The Toyota Raize stretches just over the 4-meter mark, but it remains compact and nimble. In fact, it boasts of an impressive 4.9m turning radius that is expected to make maneuverability easier. The ground clearance comes in at 200mm.

The exterior of the Raize gets sharp design cues with the front fascia fit with some well-designed LED headlamps with integrated sequential turn signals and halogen front fog lamps in the 1.0L trims. The Toyota badge sits in the center of a slim black grille and a trapezoidal lower grille is integrated into the lower bumper. Slim black claddings add to the sporty appeal of the profile in addition to the sharp bodylines that add character. Other noticeable features on the profile are the beautiful alloy wheels and blacked-out A and C pillars. The roof slopes slightly as you reach the tail end of the Toyota Raize.

Despite the compact size, the Toyota Raize claims to have ample headroom and legroom with 17 storage spaces for the occupants. The interiors have advanced features including but not limited to an adaptable automatic air conditioner, multi-information display with a wider screen and interactive display, functional instrument panel, and more. It also features a large 7-inch display that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with USB and Bluetooth integration for convenient audio and video playback. The Toyota Raize does not feature a sunroof, even as an option.

The all-new Raize comes with a 1.2L engine and a 1.0L Turbo Engine that come in both manual and automatic transmission. The manual variant is a 5-speed manual and the automatic is a CVT. The 1.2L engine produces a maximum of 87 BHP and 113 Nm of torque while the 1.0L Turbo engine produces 96 BHP of peak power with 140 Nm of peak torque. In terms of safety, the Toyota Raize comes with up to 6 Airbags, ABS, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, alarm and immobilizer, rear parking sensor, and rear parking camera.
