‘F1 In Schools’ Now In Nepal

Nepal Automobiles’ Association (NASA), which has been involved in motorsports for the past decade, has announced the ‘F1 In Schools’ motorsports program.  The Nepali version of ‘Schools to Track’ will be conducted by NASA in association with Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the world governing body of motorsports, and Formula One.

In the initial phase of this campaign, training will be provided among 200 students of various schools and colleges in Nepal, under the ‘STEM Challenge’, before providing practical training to the selected 30 students. Later, a junior-level karting competition will also be organized. The campaign which will be conducted among the female engineering and management students will be conducted from this June to next December.

According to the organization, a total amount of Rs. 95 Lakh will be spent on this campaign. There will be financial and technical assistance of Rs. 70 Lakh from FIA and the rest will be raised by NASA Nepal, related colleges, and sponsors.
