Foton Builds 10 Millionth Vehicle

Foton Motor, China’s largest commercial vehicle brand, has rolled out its 10 millionth vehicles. Foton has managed to produce its 10 million vehicles in the 25 years since its inception. Foton sold 1166 vehicles in March alone, up 59 percent from a year earlier.

To celebrate this milestone, Foton Daimler Automotive has unveiled a new Aman Galaxy truck in China, which has been described as a ‘combination of technical beauty and mobility’. Foton has its research and development centers in China, Germany, Japan, where 6,500 engineers from more than 40 countries have built more than 5,000 patents.

Foton was founded in August 1996 with the goal of leading the world’s largest logistics market. Soon after, Foton formed a policy partnership with Cummins, Daimler Group, and ZF, the world’s most popular automobile companies. Cummins is one of the world’s largest engine manufacturers. Germany’s Daimler Group is the world’s largest premium commercial vehicle manufacturer, while ZF is the world’s largest transmission and chassis technology supplier.

Foton’s products are produced in 27 assembly plants around the world and are available in 110 countries. MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has been selling and distributing Foton pickups, vans, and ambulances in Nepal.
