We’ve already heard before about Harley Davidson’s intentions of entering the sub 350cc market before, the company had entered a partnership with Benelli motorcycle’s parent company Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle to foray into the small-displacement segment with their own offering. Back in 2020, a leaked image of a presentation that stated the timeline of all Benelli motorcycles which coincidentally also included the “HD338” was discovered on the internet. Now, going by the latest type-approval document applied in China, Harley-Davidson, along with Qianjiang, might soon launch a new 300cc bike, to be called the QJMotor SRV300.

Called SRV300, the design sketches reveal a more conventional cruiser motorcycle which reminds us of a signature Harley-esque styling. The motorcycle gets a typical low stance and forward-set footpegs for a comfortable ride. Further, the motorcycle features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and an old-school round headlamp.

According to reports, the new motorcycle will receive a new 296cc V-twin motor, which is expected to produce around 30bhp of power. The specifications are not exceptional; however, the cruiser is claimed to offer a low kerb weight of 163kgs.  Although this power figure might not be exceptionally high, the bike’s low kerb weight of 163 kg would mean a healthy power to weight ratio.

The new bike features a water-cooled, overhead-cam V-Twin motor and upside-down front forks. The motorcycle has all-black alloy wheels with polished highlights on the edges of the black-painted spokes. The motorcycle rides on 16-inch front wheel and 15-inch wheel at the rear. The SRV300 is claimed to offer a wheelbase of 1400mm, while the top-speed is rated at 129kmph. The motorcycle gets a dual-channel ABS system as standard.
