Guided by the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the Kia EV9 is a unique-looking SUV with clear-cut lines and surfaces. The SUV’s signature ‘Digital Tiger Face’ is accentuated by the ‘Digital Pattern Lighting Grille’ and vertical headlamps, giving the EV9 a futuristic look. The EV9 is also offered in a GT-Line trim.

Beyond its stunning exterior, the EV9 also delivers on performance. The EV9 features a broad choice of electric powertrain configurations and utilizes Kia’s fourth-generation battery technology. A 76.1-kWh battery is offered exclusively with the Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) Standard model, while a 99.8-kWh battery is fitted in both the RWD Long Range and All Wheel Drive (AWD) variants. The EV9’s 800-volt electrical architecture enables ultra-fast charging, with Kia claiming a range of 239 km with just 15 minutes of charging. The EV9 has a targeted all-electric WLTP range of over 541 km.

The cabin design is elegantly simple and user-friendly. Kia’s ‘Panoramic wide display’, brings together a 12.3-inch cluster display, a 5-inch segment display, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system display, to offer effortless vehicle function control as well as efficient delivery of information. Hidden type touch buttons beneath provide a start/stop function along with an infotainment system as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) control. The Kia EV9 offers seven-seater and six-seater configurations and a variety of second-row seat options. The second-row seats can even swivel 180 degrees.

The EV9’s numerous safety features are facilitated by Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to enhance passenger safety. In addition, the EV9 offers pre- and post-driving safety and convenience.

The Kia EV9 was recently crowned as the winner in the 2024 Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) awards. Created in 2009, the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year is comprised exclusively of women, with 75 journalists spanning 52 countries.
