Launching Tomorrow: Mahindra’s Flagship XUV700 SUV

Agni Inc, the sole authorised distributor for Mahindra in Nepal, is officially launching the all-new Mahindra XUV700 in the Nepalese market on January 30, 2023. The three-row SUV succeeds the current-generation XUV500 and becomes the first model to feature the brand’s new twin-peaks logo. The XUV700 will start at Rs 74 Lakh in the Nepalese market.

In the Nepalese market, the XUV700 will be available in AdrenoX (AX) variant – and will be offered in three trims (AX3, AX5 and AX7). As far as seating options go, the XUV700 AX3 and AX5 will be sold as a five or seven-seater, while the AX7 will solely be available as a seven-seater. The AdrenoX series will be offered with a 2.0-litre, 197hp/380 Nm petrol engine only and gets the option of both six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.

Starting with the AX3 trim, it gets a dual 10.25-inch screen layout, LED DRL, fog lamps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, tilt adjustable steering, and a 6-speaker sound system, etc. The AX5 adds features like a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, sequential turn indicators in tail lights, curtain airbags, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The top-spec AX7 trim gets all of the above and additional features like ADAS, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, seven airbags, and 18-inch alloys. Mahindra will also offer the ‘Luxury’ option pack to add features like wireless chargers, 360-degree cameras, a 3D surround sound system, a blind view monitor, and an electronic parking brake.

The Mahindra XUV 700 has also achieved five stars for adult occupants and four stars for child occupants in Global NCAP. The XUV700 was tested in compliance with the requirements of Global NCAP’s voluntary test procedure. The Mahindra XUV700 was tested in the most basic safety specification, fitted with two airbags, ABS and ISOFIX anchorages.

The Mahindra XUV700 will be available in five colour options – Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, and Electric Blue.
