NADA Conducts Tax, Customs & VCTS Training in Lumbini Automobiles Association of Nepal

NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal in association with Lumbini Automobiles Association recently conducted a ‘Tax, Customs and VCTS training’ for automobile dealers around Lumbini and Nepalgunj region. The training program was held at Dreamland Gold Resort in Butwal on Friday, June 10 with the participation of 125 people including members and other invited members.

Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the program, NADA President Dhruba Thapa said that NADA has always been committed to tackling the problems of the members scattered across the country and enhancing their capacity. He said that it was necessary to develop the business efficiency of the entrepreneurs of all sectors.

Gyanendra Dhakal, Chief of Bhairahawa Customs, highlighted the existing system of the customs area and the issues to be adopted by the businessmen at the customs. He also informed that the role of entrepreneurs would be important to make the customs administration efficient.

Similarly, Mukti Acharya, Chief of Bhairahawa Inland Revenue Office, briefed the businessmen about revenue administration. He said that many entrepreneurs have been facing tax problems knowingly or unknowingly, adding that such programs would provide information and awareness to the entrepreneurs.

Similarly, Hom Bahadur Pandey, Revenue Investigation Officer, said that the VCTS was for the benefit of the entrepreneurs. He warned the businessmen to move away from the trend of tax evasion, adding that the revenue investigation into tax evasion was aimed at adopting a zero tolerance policy.

Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai, Chairman of Lumbini Automobiles, who presided over the program, said that the support of NADA has played a great role in the development of the cadre of its members. Chartered Accountant Sahil Agrawal was the head coach of the program.

Retired President of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal Krishna Prasad Dulal, General Secretary Surendra Kumar Upreti, Treasurer Milan Babu Malla, Co-Treasurer Pankaj Agrawal and member Muna Shrestha were present on the occasion.
