TVS has partially revealed its upcoming 310cc naked bike ahead of its launch on September 6. The image of the test mule reveals a lot of details about the upcoming 310cc streetfighter. The TVS-BMW Motorrad collaboration has spawned three different motorcycles based on the 310cc platform and this will be TVS’ second product on this platform after Apache RR 310.

As shared by TVS on its social media handles, the new 310 cc streetfighter was seen being tested by Sudarshan Venu, the MD of TVS Motor Company.  The upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 sports an aggressive design language, as the teaser image reveals. The bike will feature an angular headlamp, sharp tank shrouds, USD front forks, split seats, a minimalist rear section, and a side-slung exhaust. The dash appears to be a rectangular unit. The bike will get a full-LED treatment, from headlight to taillight and turn indicators.

Developed in collaboration with BMW Motorrad, the upcoming Apache RTR 310 will be powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine to deliver 33 hp and 27.3 Nm of torque. But don’t be surprised if TVS tweaks the tuning and gear ratios for the new Apache. Expect the bike to get a six-speed transmission duty. Apart from ride modes, it could be possible that TVS might equip the RTR 310 with traction control, a quick-shifter and more.

Braking on the motorcycle will be carried out by petal-type disc brakes at both ends, equipped with dual-channel ABS. It will be interesting to see if TVS offers adjustability for the front forks as it does with the RR310. TVS could also offer the BTO option for the Apache RTR 310 with the adjustable suspension, footpegs, handlebar and more. The RTR 310 gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tyres and adjustable brake and clutch levers.
