Under this scheme, the Polo is now available at an EMI of Rs 22,500. The required downpayment is 50 percent. Volkswagen says the scheme is aimed at buyers who want to own a Volkswagen this festive season.

The Polo 1.0 gets a 999cc petrol engine that delivers best-in-class 76 bhp of power and 95 NM of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The hatchback is offered with major safety and convenience features like ABS, galvanized body, front and rear power windows, a rearview camera, air-condition, rack and tilt power steering, etc.
