On the occasion of world tourism day 2021, women bikers had organized a rally on September 25, 2021, Saturday. Rally was started from Nepal Tourism Board, Exhibition Road to Lhundurp Choling. The monastery was a part of a rally aimed at promoting tourism. The bike rally was jointly organized by the Women Commission of Nepal Automobiles’ Association. NASA and Women International Motorcycle Association WIMA Nepal.

NASA has been working in Motor/Motorcycling Sports, Automobile & Mobility, Drive Tourism, Road safety, Safe and Sustainable Mobility fields in Nepal for 12 years. A national division of the Women’s International Motorcycle Association WIMA was established in Nepal in April 2019. It is a group of ladies who love to ride motorcycles and are interested in promoting awareness campaigns for safe riding across Nepal.

The group is considered to be a center for female bikers and enthusiasts, who are interested to take bike riding as entertainment. With the slogan Tourism for inclusive growth, the rally began with a safe riding orientation for all riders by WIMA president Ms. Sunita Deshar.

The program was inaugurated by President Mr. Dashrath Risal of the Nepal Automobiles’ Association. About 15 devoted women-bikers participated in the ride event.
