Jagdamba Motors TVS, the sole authorised distributor for TVS Motor in Nepal, has launched the BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition with Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi) in Nepal at a price of Rs 2,77,900. The BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition was launched virtually across the company’s social media handles. The new BS6 Ntorq 125 Race Edition will be available in two colours – Race Edition Red and Race Edition Yellow.

In the Nepalese market, the Ntorq 125 will now be available in four variants – the regular Ntorq 125, the Ntorq 125 Race Edition, the Ntorq SuperSquad Edition., and the new BS6 Ntorq 125 Race Edition. The regular NTorq 125 is priced at Rs 2,21,900 (Drum) and Rs 2,49,900 (Disc), the Ntorq 125 Race Edition is available at Rs 2,65,900, and the Ntorq SuperSquad edition is priced at Rs 2,70,900.

The TVS Ntorq 125 has always been a feature-rich, performance-oriented scooter with more than 1 lakh sales in international markets including Nepal. In 2020, the Ntorq 125 became the largest selling 125cc premium scooter in the Nepalese market. The Ntorq 125  achieved this feat within two years of its launch in the Nepalese market. And,  the introduction of the BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 is expected to further cement its position as the market leader in the 125cc premium segment.

TVS Ntorq 125 boasts a superior performance backed by TVS Racing Pedigree and is the first scooter to be equipped with Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi). The BS6 compliant engine delivers 9.25 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque. While the power figure has seen a slight decrease by 0.15 hp, the torque output remains the same. TVS claims a best-in-class pickup, power and acceleration with the BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition.

The BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 continues to offer the TVS SmartXonnect, a Bluetooth-enabled technology paired with an exclusive TVS Connect mobile App. TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth app enables a host of first-in-segment additions to the fully digital speedometer, which boasts features such as navigation assist, top speed recorder, in-built lap-timer, phone battery strength display, last parked location assist, service reminder, trip meter and multi-ride statistic modes such as Street and Sport.

The BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition features a signature LED headlamp with LED DRLs and chequered flag graphics to accentuate a sporty appeal. There is a hazard lamp that can be enabled by a red-coloured hazard switch.  The Race Edition also gets an engine kill switch, USB charger and split grab rails, among others. As far as the dimensions are concerned, the scooter is 1,861mm long, 710mm wide, and 1,164mm high. While the wheelbase measures 1,285mm, the ground clearance is 155mm. The scooter has a kerb weight of 118kg. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5.8 litres of petrol.

The TVS Ntorq 125 rivals the likes of the Aprilia Storm 125, Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally, Honda Grazia, and the Hero Maestro Edge 125.
