Preview images of the truck, draped in orange and blue camouflage, have been unveiled by BYD, offering scant details on both the interior and exterior features of the vehicle. Maintaining a robust aesthetic, the BYD truck showcases wide wheel arches, a high bonnet line, and sizable side-view mirrors. Notable features include roof rails, a short bed length, and conventional door handles.

The BYD pickup truck will boast a combined range of approximately 1,000 kilometers, with an electric range of around 100 kilometers per single charge. Additionally, it will come equipped with an AR-HUD and an active suspension system. Initial reports suggest it will debut as a PHEV model, followed by a BEV variant slated for release next year.

Set to rival established models such as the Ford Ranger, F-150 Lightning, Toyota Hilux, and Tesla Cybertruck, the BYD Truck signifies the brand’s entry into the competitive pickup segment.
