Changan Auto has revealed the price of its upcoming premium Sedan, Alsvin, in Nepal. The company has set the price at Rs 42 Lakh. The pop-up showroom of Alsvin is located at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. Alsvin will be the first vehicle of Changan Auto that will be launched in the Nepalese market.

MAW Chairman, Vishnu Agrawal had his say in a statement that read, “With futuristic product design & technology, Alsvin is the perfect brand to establish new standards in the Nepali automobile market. We will be giving the best sales & after-sales service infrastructure to our customers and with most focus on customer delight & experience’’.

Consumers can expect a blend of luxury, comfort, and functionality from Alsvin, says Changan. The Alsvin is equipped with a 1.4-litre Blue Core petrol engine that delivers 99 BHP and 135 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The sedan comes with a wheelbase of 2535 mm and provides a ground clearance of 165 mm. Similarly, boot space capacity stands at 390 litres.

The Alsvin sedan sports projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, and a three-slat horizontal chrome grille. On the inside, it features premium leatherette seats to enhance its premium appeal. The sedan also gets a digital instrument console, sporty flat-bottom steering wheel and HVAC with a digital display. Safety features on the Changan Alsvin include ABS with EBD, dual front airbag, and a rearview camera with parking sensors. The Alsvin sedan also gets a 7-inch infotainment touch screen.
