Vanijya Vikash Pvt Ltd, the newly appointed authorised distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, has announced the pricing of the upcoming T03 electric hatchback in Nepal.

The T03 electric hatchback will be available in two electric motor options, 55 kW and 80 kW, at Rs 24.99 Lakh and Rs 27.99 Lakh, respectively.

The T03 is a small urban car with a dimension of 3620x1652x1605 mm and a wheelbase of 2400 mm. In China, the T03 comes with three battery choices: 21.6 kWh, 31.9 kWh, and 41.3 kWh, providing a range of 200 to 403 kilometers (CLTC standard) on a single charge. The T03 also supports fast charging and an 80 percent charge can be done in 30 minutes with the battery coming with an 8-year/150,000 km warranty.

In terms of features, the T03 boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, GPS navigation, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), smart key, automatic air conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch TFT instrument console and Level 2 autonomous driving capability. Moreover, its cabin can easily accommodate up to five passengers with ample legroom and provides a spacious cargo space.

Last year, Stellantis announced its acquisition of a 21% stake in Leapmotor in a $1.6 billion agreement, marking its renewed focus on penetrating the lucrative Chinese automotive market, the largest globally in terms of sales volume.

In addition to the stake acquisition, the two companies unveiled a joint venture, granting Stellantis exclusive rights to manufacture, export, and distribute Leapmotor products beyond China.  The production of Leapmotor electric vehicles (EVs) is slated to take place at Stellantis’ Tychy plant in Poland, under the partnership agreement.
