The Neta Aya features two powertrain options – a 40 kW (54 hp) electric motor with an LFP battery from Guangxi Ningfu to deliver 318 km of range (CLTC), and a 70 kW (95 hp) electric motor with an LFP battery from SVOLT to deliver 401 km of range (CLTC). The Neta V used LFP and NMC batteries from CATL, one of the top Chinese battery manufacturers. Guangxi Ningfu, on the other hand, is a relatively new company that came into operation in 2021. On the other hand, SVOLT is a popular battery maker in China.

On the design front, the Aya looks similar to the outgoing Neta V except for the more aggressive front bumper with a bigger trapezoid air intake. The profile hasn’t changed except for the new rims. At the back, the Aya gets a single taillight unit and a slightly adjusted rear bumper. In terms of dimensions, the Neta Aya measures the same 4070/1690/1540 mm with a wheelbase of 2420 mm.

Inside, the Neta Aya gets a similar design language as the Neta V. The minimalistic interior of the Aya features the same two-spoke ‘sporty’ steering wheel, a thin 12-inch instrument panel and a portrait-oriented 14.6-inch touchscreen. Similarly, it now gets the MT8675 chip from MediaTek.

The Neta Aya is available in four trim levels – 318 Lite (10,300 USD), 318 (11,000 USD), 401 Lite (11,850 USD) and 401 (12,400 USD). The trim-wise features include 15-inch steel/aluminum rims, front airbags, rear parking radars, a rear-view camera, cruise control, halogen headlights/LED headlights, a wireless phone charging pad, in-car karaoke, heated side view mirrors, and a rain sensor.  Neta is also offering an optional package worth 560 USD that adds front heated seats, a Level 2 self-driving system with ACC, AEB, etc.
