Seres Accelerates Network Expansion Across Nepal; Outlines Expansion with New Locations Nationwide

Seres is making significant strides towards the widespread availability of their vehicles, actively expanding their network to cover key locations throughout the country. The company’s concerted efforts have already established a strong presence in crucial areas nationwide.

Having laid a solid foundation since the NADA Auto Show 2023, Seres is now poised to extend its reach even further by venturing into new locations. Seres has expanded its network with showrooms in Naxal, Panipokhari and Lalitpur inside the valley, and Pokhara and Butwal outside the valley. Plans are underway to open new locations in Narayanghat, Dhangadhi, Birgunj, and Janakpur, very soon.

Seres is a brand of electric vehicle marketed by Seres Group. Seres Group is one of the largest EV manufacturers in China and has been exporting to over 70 countries globally. It is famous for its popular DFSK and SERES brands. The Chinese electric carmaker currently offers the Seres 3 and Seres Mini EV in the Nepalese market.

Seres 3: The Seres 3 is an electric subcompact SUV powered by a 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and paired with a 99 kW electric motor. The Seres 3 claims an electric range of 405 kilometres on a full charge (NEDC). The Seres 3 has a ground clearance of 190mm. The Seres 3 is priced at an introductory Rs 49.99 Lakh for the Comfort variant and Rs 52.99 Lakh for the Premium variant.

Seres Mini EV: At Rs 13.99 Lakh, the Seres Mini EV is the most affordable EV in Nepal. The Seres Mini EV is offered in two IP67-rated Li-ion battery packs – 13.8 kWh (Base and Mid variant) and 16.8 kWh (Top variant). The 13.8 kWh battery pack delivers a range of 180 km while the latter provides a range of 220 km. Similarly, peak power and torque stand at 25 kW/100 Nm and 30 kW/100 Nm each, respectively.
