June 21 is World Motorcycle Day, a day that celebrates everything from the world of motorcycling. Whether you’re using a motorcycle to get around on your daily commute or use it to blast through the highways on weekends or love hitting the trails, World Motorcycle Day is for you. Yes, we can’t wait to get back on the saddle and hit the road, but Covid-19 has put a brake on it. However, once the restrictions are lifted, there will be no better way to refresh yourselves than going for a ride.  For now, we take you through some of our favourite motorcycles we’ve enjoyed reviewing over the past year or so.

Jawa Forty-Two: The New Retrospective

Jawa motorcycles made their debut in Nepal at the end of 2020, introducing with it a new player to the retro motorcycle segment of Nepal and making way for the resurgence of the Jawa Motorcycle brand, the lone contender to the cult following of the Royal Enfield.  Although it might be too soon to say how it’s going to fare against the big guns of Royal Enfield (especially with the brand vowing to consistently bring out new products in the coming years), Jawa Motorcycles definitely bring new flavor to the retro motorcycle segment.

KTM 390 Adventure: Cracking the 390 Adventure

The KTM 390 Adventure is what it says it is: a travel-enduro motorcycle. It is a great tourer. The power output and maneuverability is great for mile-munching errands. You get all of the electronic assistance you will need. It finds poise and comfort when touring and reflects it onto the rider. You’re not going to slap on your dirt helmet, put on your Fox dirt jersey, and rip through trails on the KTM 390 Adventure. It is more likely that you will pack up your bags, get on your touring gear, and head on out to get to the other side of the map.
