The Jimny Lite will not be available with alloy wheels but will get black steel wheels instead, it will also omit the SmartPlay infotainment system but will come with a 2-DIN audio system that will be similar to the ones seen on Suzuki mid-spec models sold in our market. The Jimny Lite also misses out on fog lamps and projector headlamps.

There won’t be any changes mechanically, which means the Jimny Lite will come with the same 102hp 1.5-liter petrol mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It will also come with standard four-wheel drive gear including low range, just like the more expensive versions of the SUV. The Jimny Lite will be built in Japan and will be introduced in markets like Australia first where it will go on sale in August this year.
