In anticipation of Ather Community Day 2024, scheduled in Bengaluru, India on April 6, Ather Energy Nepal has announced a competition offering a fully paid trip to Bengaluru for participants to join the lively celebration. To qualify, individuals need to visit Ather’s Experience Centers across Nepal, experience test rides on the 450X electric scooter, and stand a chance to win an all-expenses-covered ticket to Bengaluru.

Moreover, Ather Energy is gearing up to reveal its upcoming family-oriented e-scooter, Rizta, during the Ather Community Day. This electric scooter is characterized by a fresh design, featuring a larger frame and increased storage capacity beneath the seat compared to the current 450 series. In addition to Rizta, Ather is poised to introduce other exciting unveilings, including the much-anticipated smart helmet ‘Halo’. Dubbed a ‘smart accessory’ by Ather Energy CEO and co-founder Tarun Mehta, Halo is set to be showcased during the event and is speculated to incorporate several smart functionalities, potentially including a built-in head-up display and Bluetooth connectivity.

Furthermore, the forthcoming Atherstack 6 is anticipated to be a groundbreaking over-the-air (OTA) update by Ather, introducing the new feature “messaging on the dash” and a revamped smartphone application aimed at seamlessly integrating various scooter functionalities.

Presently, Ather offers its flagship 450X electric scooter in Nepal.  The 450X is offered in two battery options – 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh for Rs 3.99 Lakh and Rs 4.39 Lakh, respectively.

The 450X is renowned for its exciting features, including ParkAssist, AutoHold, FallSafe, a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with integrated Google Maps, a maximum speed of 90 km/hr, an officially certified range of 146 km and a TrueRange of 105km. The 450X also offers five ride modes – Warp, Sport, Ride, SmartEco, and Eco with the maximum power output in Warp mode at 6.2 kW. The Ather 450X also offers a larger boot space of 22 liters, front and rear disc brakes with regen, 12-inch alloy wheels with a set of 110/80 section performance tyres co-developed with MRF, a telescopic fork, and a belt drive system.
