The rear end gets slim full-width connected tail lamps, an embedded ducktail spoiler, and a rear bumper with a simple diffuser element.

In terms of dimensions, the Changan Qiyuan A07 measures 4,905/1,910/1,480mm with a generous 2,900mm wheelbase. In comparison, the wheelbase of the Tesla Model 3 is only 2875mm. Inside, the Qiyuan A07 gets a D-shaped two-spoke steering wheel with a Qiyuan logo on it. The center console has a large 15-inch floating screen. Below the screen, there are two wireless phone charging pads and a pair of cup holders.

Similar to Changan’s other sub-brand Deepal, the Qiyuan A07 will be offered in a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) version as well as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version. The all-electric version gets two optional electric motors – 218hp and 258hp. Similarly, the battery pack is also available in two options – 58 kWh (515 km CLTC-certified) and 80 kWh (710 km CLTC-certified). The EREV version, on the other hand, gets a 1.5-liter natural-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine to deliver 88 hp.

The Qiyuan A07 is expected to go on sale in the Chinese car market towards the third quarter of this year.
